The Nordics
We happily introduce three leaders
of Europe North, who together with
their team, are preparing the way to
launch VIBRANCE® in 2017.
As a cornerstone of their pre-launch
approach, in April they hosted the
"Nordic Seedcare Academy" focused
on Root Health for key influencers
from Denmark, Finland, Norway and
Sweden. Charlotte White (ADAS,
United Kingdom) opened the event
by highlighting global challenges
with the growing population and
demand for food. Roots, and
particularly healthy roots, play an
important role in exploiting water and
nutrients from the soil. Presenters
from each country continued the
research sharing, plus dived into the
country-specific challenges related

to seed quality, disease monitoring
and the regulatory environment.
Paul Seymour from Jealott's Hill
(United Kingdom) ensured that
four Rhizotrons showed the quite
significant visual difference-both in
Rhizoctonia-infected soil and, even
more interesting, also in uninfected
soil. Plants from a nearby demo
field also showed a clear difference
between treated and untreated
examples.

The team encouraged participants to
stay connected through social media
going forward - i.e. on the Global
Root Health Network and the Root
Health Knowledge Pool.
