HO'OKIPA PHOTOS BY HAWKINS BIGGINS HLTA's Culinary Gala HLTA's Culinary Gala The Hawaii Lodging and Tourism's third annual Ka Ikena Dinner was a sold-out affair, with Chef Warren Uchida and students of the Kapiolani Community College Culinary Arts Program providing the feast for the 130 attendees. Proceeds from the event go to KCC and this year the HLTA established the HLTA Culinary Arts Scholarship. Takuto Hoshigami, the first scholarship recipient, was recognized for his dedication to the program, academic achievement and volunteerism.
