FROM THE CEO
Hello Aviation and GSE world - Well, we are halfway through 2022,
a truly crazy year. I just wanted to keep you up to speed on the
life and times of the new Stinar. As you can see from the front
cover, Stinar was named 2022 Product Leader of the Year. What
an honor! We are very proud to say that we have been shipping
units all over the world or should I say the Western hemisphere
at least. DPT Lifts to the Virgin Islands, 3518 Stairs to a federal
agency on the east coast, 3518 stairs to the great state of Alaska
and four MHL 316 and 325s to a carrier out at LAX.
One of the biggest questions we were asked at the trade show in
Miami was " Do you have chassis? Mainly OEM chassis? " That's
an easy one. Yes, we do. We typically use Ford F550s though
we have customers ask for others such as Dodge or GMC. Stinar has been using Fords forever. Maybe
because the Midwest has been termed " Ford Country. "
Along with that we source all our components from the states and our manufacturing plant is in the
Blooming Prairie, MN. Someone asked why we are not in Detroit, or Chicago or even Houston? Well, I
think it's truly because Kruckeberg Industries, the parent company to Stinar, has been manufacturing
here for almost 40 years. We love the pride and work ethic of the people of the Midwest. Our vendors
are our neighbors and contrary to belief the cost of doing business in rural America is much lower also.
In these trying times and with the country being in the position it is today, seems like the best place to
be is close to home. Plus, you have to love the fact that Blooming Prairie's high school mascot is the
Awesome Blossom! Seriously, check it out www.blossoms.k12.mn.us.
I am going to be brutally honest, that's the way I am. If you're going to buy GSE strictly on price, Stinar will
lose every time. We pride ourselves on the quality that we build and the longevity of Stinar equipment.
We are continuously proud of the past and current Stinar Team especially when we send out a seal kit or a
valve for a 35-year-old Stinar unit (pretty sure the depreciation is done on those units). Plus, being the only
one in the industry with a 3-year warranty should in itself state that we believe in what we build.
