bring women into the company, retain talent and develop
women for future leadership roles.
Dog Duty:
Kendra volunteers at a local dog rescue and has fostered
over 40 dogs in the last 10 years. She can't live without her
and her wife Meredith's two pups, Penny and Gus.
A Home Run:
Red Sox fandom runs in her family, and Kendra takes charge
of their fantasy baseball league.

An Asian Adventure:
Although her favorite
" vacation spot " is at
home, Annie once
backpacked for 45
days across the island
of Borneo.

Accomplishments:
* Implemented improvements to various
crop production techniques and schedules,
notably on the company's 5-inch geranium
crop, her first opportunity to step up as a
grower and have the autonomy to make
decisions on a larger scale.
* Serves as a member of AmericanHort's
GenNext community: " It's exciting to be
a part of helping the future generations
who are entering the horticulture industry. "
* Started in the industry as a produce farmer, then a
production crew member in the greenhouse.
Delicious Combinations:
Annie says she has the uncanny ability to demolish a dozen
donuts or more on a Sunday during shipping season, but
her favorite foods are crab legs with drawn butter and
strawberry rhubarb crumble.

A Trip to Isla Nublar:
Sam most enjoys
vacationing to Cape Rosier on the
coast of Maine, but his favorite
movie takes him to a different
location: " 'Jurassic Park' captured
my imagination at an early age
and still holds up today. "
When at Home:
Sam loves being a dad and
spending time outdoors with his family, along with gardening,
woodworking, and painting.
