OBITUARIES

George Youmans
MACON, Ga. - George Youmans,
who owned a Chevrolet dealership
in Macon, died on Nov. 26 at age
75. Youmans bought the store from
his father-in-law in 1983. In 2004 he
turned the day-to-day operations
over to his son but remained active
until he died. He was a finalist for
the 1995 Time Magazine Quality
Dealer Award and a past president
of the Georgia Automobile Dealers
Association.
