DISNEY’S HEALTH AND FITNESS EXPO INFORMATION Disney’s Health and Fitness Expo Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex Please Note: All Marathon and Half Marathon participants must attend the Expo for race number and packet pick-up! There will be absolutely no pick-up on race day with no exceptions! CHAMPIONCHIP When you receive your race number, you will also receive your ChampionChip. The ChampionChip records your ofﬁcial and net time. The net time is the time that it takes you to get from the start mats to the ﬁnish line mats and will be used to determine qualifying time for the 2007 or 2008 Boston Marathon. Net time will also be used to determine age group awards. Upon receiving your ChampionChip, verify that your race number and the number on the chip match the numbers printed on the top of the envelope. If they do not match, inform an event volunteer. Instructions for wearing the chip are printed on the outside of your chip envelope. Please do not forget your ChampionChip on race day and do not exchange it with another runner. If you do not have your ChampionChip on race day, you will not be timed or scored. If you have your own ChampionChip and did not indicate this on your registration form, please inform race personnel via e-mail at disneysports@emmi.com or at Runner Relations at the Expo. Thursday, January 4 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 5 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Disney’s Health and Fitness Expo welcomes all Marathon Weekend participants to experience a three-day celebration focused on health and ﬁtness. The event features celebrity runner appearances, seminars on training, racing, and nutrition, along with the opportunity to experience the latest in running and ﬁtness equipment. Each seminar lasts 30 to 45 minutes and will include Q & A and autograph sessions. TV and radio race commentator Creigh Kelley will host. RACE NUMBER PICK-UP CARD/WAIVER Enclosed with your program is an ofﬁcial race number pick-up card/waiver.
