Whether you're a fan of the latest iteration
of the Star Trek franchise or not, there's
no disputing this packed Blu-ray set of the
show's 14-episode second season, which
features a universally lauded performance
by Anson Mount as Captain Christopher
Pike, is worth the price of admission given its
extensive deleted scenes, two Short Treks,
audio commentary and even a blooper reel.
The disc itself looks great doing justice to
the show's cinematic production values and
features DTS-HD Master Audio to give some
punch to the intergalactic proceedings.
