The gke emulating indicator is self-adhesive. It has easy colour change from red to black indicating the requirements according to Australian and EN parameters. 500 labels ■ Placed within the autoclave pouch or instrument cassette. Indicates whether the sterilant has penetrated the pack, rather than just being exposed to the sterilisation process. Changes colour from off-white to black when fully processed. Does not verify sterility, allows detection of certain procedual errors and equipment malfunction. Recommended frequency: - every load. Comply Chemical Indicator Strips 240 x 1.5cm x 20cm centre perforated strips or 480 x 1.5cm x 10 cm strips TM-1250 GK-211-242 The gke Bowie Dick test is an air removal and steam penetration test, that is done daily at start up in an empty chamber for pre-vacuum sterilisers, as defined in Australian and EN Standards. The PCD is necessary to monitor critical instruments e.g. handpieces for a number of reasons: 1. Chart printouts cannot detect residual amounts of air inside any type of hollow critical instrument (if it could there would be no need to conduct any air removal test); 2. Only a PCD can simulate the construction of stainless steel hollow critical items (e.g. handpieces); and 3. Only a PCD can detect faults with vacuum pumps. If the gke PCD detects a miniscule amount of residual air it will fail, meaning any "handpieces" in this load will have no guarantee of an internal Sterility Assurance Level (SAL). The benefits of using gke's device is ease of usage and interpretation - One Indicator is inserted inside the device and provides very distinctive pass/fail results (interpretation charts supplied) as well as having an adhesive backing for tracking purposes. 521http://www.henryschein.com.au//Product/GK-F211-252/GKE-Batch-Monitoring-Indicator-Refill-Box-of-250 http://www.henryschein.com.au//Product/GK-F211-255/GKE-Batch-Monitoring-Indicator-Refill-Box-of-500 http://www.henryschein.com.au//Product/TM-1250/COMPLY-Chemical-Indicator-Strip-For-Steam-x-240 http://www.henryschein.com.au//Product/GK-211-242/GKE-INDICATORS-Chemic-Class-6-Emulating-Packaging-box-of-500 http://www.henryschein.com.au//Product/GK-211-121/GKE-BOWIE-DICK-Test-Device-Purple-Device http://www.henryschein.com.au//Product/GK-F211-111/GKE-Refill-for-Purple-Device-Box-of-100 http://www.henryschein.com.au//Product/GK-F211-112/GKE-Refill-for-Purple-Device-Box-of-250
