Nadcap Checklist
Review - Composites
One day

The course is presented by experienced auditors, experts in Nadcap
Composites requirements. An important aspect of the course is the
opportunity to ask questions, at any time and on any subject related to
Nadcap and the Composites accreditation process. The course will always
address the current version of each checklist. Where revisions have been
confirmed but not yet implemented the instructor will describe and clarify any
significant changes.

Thorough review of the AC7118 checklist
Core Processing
* In depth review of AC7118 Section 15. Topics
addressed include processing raw material, machining,
potting, splicing, forming, trimming and slicing.
Compression Molding
* In depth review of AC7118 Section 20. Topics
addressed include sub-assemblies, kitting, materials &
preforms, and cure.
Prepreg/Adhesive Bonding/Resin Film Infusion (PAR)/
Liquid Resin/ Metal Bond
* Explanation of the Composites Task Group approach
to job audits (AC7118 sections 16a-d). Guidance
and support given for checklist questions on layup,
laminating and secondary bonding, metal bond and
liquid resin.
Miscellaneous Layup Processes
* Explanation of the Composites Task Group approach
to job audits (AC7118 sections 16e-g). Guidance and
support given for checklist questions on Automatic
Fiber Placement/Automatic Tape Laying(AFP/ATL),
Filament Winding, and Automated Hot Drape Forming.
Common Job Audits
* Review and discussion of AC7118 sections 3-14,1719, & 21-24 including topics such as general quality
systems requirements, material control, facilities
and equipment, tooling, general fabrication, process
control, Tool Prep, Kitting, Cure Prep, Liquid Resin
Processing (LRP- RTM, VRTM, etc...),Cure (Autoclave,
Oven, Heated Press), Machining, Trimming, Drilling,
Miscellaneous Bonding, Testing.

and intent of all sections of the AC7118
