Battery tester
With its parallel testing architecture,
the Pilot Battery
Tester (BT) from Seica, Inc.
(Haverhill, Mass.) can test 16
cells simultaneously to
meet the throughput requirements
of very highvolume
production environments.
The standard system
configuration includes a
pass-through conveyance
by Bosch, but it also can be
configured with unique
customer conveyance solutions
integrated into completely
automated lines. The Pilot BT offers a test area of 1050
x 865 mm (41.3 x 34.1 in.), enabling it to handle the many battery
configurations currently on the market and the capacity
to manage future configurations. High-definition cameras and
laser sensors ensure proper fiducial recognition of the battery
and terminal plates for proper placement inside the test area.

Industries Software
(Plano, Texas), test
engineers and managers
can optimize
their test data acquisition
and measurement
performance in harsh environments, such as those
found in heavy equipment and transportation industries.
Simcenter SCADAS RS is modular in design and offers flexibility
in how it can be mounted on any vehicle or machine. It
can withstand extreme temperatures, moisture, mud and
dust, as well as high shock and vibration levels. This not only
allows for precise data measurement, but also streamlined
analysis and in-depth processing using the Simcenter Testlab
software suite. Test engineers can then use this validated data
for further load data processing and use it in combination
with simulation models to help actualize the digital twin.
