Being part of the Ryerson community and working with President
Levy and the other board members. It is the most collegial and
engaged group of volunteers that I have ever worked with.
What do you hope to achieve on the board?
On a macro level, I would like to work with President Levy,
the other board members, faculty, staff and students to
continue Ryerson's transformation into the most dynamic and
entrepreneurial university in the country. On a somewhat more
micro level, I would also like to help Ryerson get a law school.

What advice do you have for
students and alumni?
What do you enjoy most about being
on Ryerson’s Board of Governors?

What are your thoughts on
the way Ryerson is changing
downtown Toronto?
Enjoy the moment. Make the most of your time

transformational time of your life. My advice for
alumni is directed at those who have not been
back to the campus in a few years. To them I can
only say — come see what you are missing.
Come to the MAC or the RIC. Come for a tour
of the DMZ or see a movie during TIFF at the
Ryerson Theatre. There is so much to see and
do. Somehow the university seems to get more
amazing every day. n
representatives, two board appointees and nine Lieutenant-Governorin-Council appointees. Together, they make major administrative policy,
staff and financial decisions that serve Ryerson’s best interests.
