Your Words Dear Spirit, Getting comfortable on a recent flight between Austin and Dallas, I picked up the most recent copy of Spirit magazine. As I flipped through the pages, I noticed a photo that looked a lot like the man who was sitting beside me. I tapped him on the shoulder and asked, "Do you know this man?" He gave a friendly smile and remarked, "As a matter of fact, I do." Sitting beside me was none other than Gary Kelly, Southwest's CEO. He explained to me that he always gets around this way. When I complimented his humility and respect to the staff, he told me, "There isn't a bad seat on any of our planes." On that day, I had to argue that I had one of the best seats.
