And InLiquid, the city’s hub for the visual arts, is ready for you, with an invitation to their signature summer event, Art for the Cash Poor. This block party and art sale, which is free and open to the public, runs from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, June 9 and 10, in the Crane Arts Building in Philadelphia. The fun kicks off with a preview on June 8 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., when the public can sneak a peek at some of the works. The event features the work of 100 participating artists each day. All works will be priced at $199 or less, to make art collecting accessible and easy to enjoy. It’s a casual event for the whole family, with live music, good food, and on-site artists eager to discuss their craft. Can’t make it?
