Certification
IASIU offers three certification programs. The Certified Insurance
Fraud Investigator (CIFI) program is an accrediting process for
individuals with the specialized skills required to detect, investigate
and deter insurance fraud. The Certified Insurance Fraud Analyst
(CIFA) program is an accrediting process that covers all topics
that deem an analyst to be well-rounded and versed in all aspects
of fraud analysis. The Certified Insurance Fraud Representative
(CIFR), which is designed to recognize those fraud awarenessconscious claim representatives who are passionate about fraud
detection and work closely with the SIU on a daily basis.
Holding one of the IASIU certifications gives the investigator
or claim representative professional recognition in his/her field,
ensures consistent high standards throughout the industry,
provides highly-qualified individuals to investigate insurance
fraud and inspires public confidence in the integrity, objectivity
and professionalism of insurance investigators.

All three programs have high standards for admission and
testing, which includes adherence to IASIU's code of ethics and
a demonstrated competency through mandatory continuing
professional education.

Chapter Expansion

The website is continually being improved to provide IASIU
members with the latest resources in a clean and succinct manner.
Members are able to post for free on the job board. As of November
1, 2019, the website has had 379,421 page views. What are members

IASIU leaders are continually looking

welcomed chapters in Mississippi and South

The Career Center continues to be a great resource. Members can
post jobs and resumes for free. Job postings have been viewed 21,700
times this year. The word is out - whether you're an employer
looking for the right candidate or a job seeker looking for your next
opportunity - the IASIU Career Center is the SIU community's
newest go-to resource.

SIU Today
We're continually looking at ways to improve
this vital resource for our members. In addition
to going all-digital, we offer 2 CE credits to
members who read the magazine and complete
a quiz based on the content. By participating
in the SIU Today quizzes, 171 members earned
CE credits, which are good towards their CIFI,
CIFA or CIFR designations. In 2020, we'll launch SIU Today in a
new platform that will enhance the reading experience whether
you're on a desktop computer or Smartphone.

Social Community
and Mobile App
In our online social community members can interact
and share messages with each other. It's a great way to
engage with fellow fraud fighters online. Look for more

Our monthly webinar series continues
to be popular with members. More than
1,500 individuals have attended the live
webinars or viewed them on our website
and more than 450 members have taken
the quizzes to earn CE credits. We will
host monthly webinars again in 2020, so
stay tuned for more opportunities to learn in the year ahead!
