Scugog Memorial Public Library
The Scugog Memorial Public Library has so much to offer. Located on the waterfront of Lake Scugog, you can appreciate the peaceful surroundings from the many cozy spaces in the library where you can read, meet friends, or just enjoy the view. There are many workshops and events offered throughout the year including story times and fun programs for kids, big screen movie screenings and book clubs for adults. Their main collection includes hardcover and paperback books, magazines, audio books, CDs, and large print books. They have a collection of reference books including encyclopedias, dictionaries, directories, indexes,business information, and government information. The library has six Internet workstations open to the public, where job seekers can access the job bank Port Perry There is wireless access for laptops. from Villa Service Canada. Inside the library you will find the Kent Farndale Gallery where local and international artists and craftspeople using all media are showcased. Each exhibit lasts for four weeks attracting over 26,000 visitors every year.
