Mirafi® H2Ri is for
areas with high
water tables, excess
moisture present in
the subbase, excess
moisture present
in the subgrade,
expansive soils and
frost-susceptible
soils. The continuous moisture management
system offers drainage, confinement,

The Xtreme Armor
System is an
anchor reinforced
vegetated system
that combines the
woven PP5-Xtreme
high-performance
turf reinforcement
mat (HPTRM)
with percussion
driven anchors to
create an armoring system that is mechanically
secured to the ground surface. The durability of
the woven HPTRM provides confidence in high
loading/high survivability applications, while
the anchors harness the strength of the fabric
to hold saturated, surficial soil creating a highperformance slope stability system. The Xtreme
Armor System is ideal for erosion control
applications, anchor reinforced vegetation

ACCELERATED PAVEMENT TESTING
TRI operates a fullscale accelerated
pavement testing
lab to simulate
truck traffic on
road test sections.
The key element
in this lab is
an accelerated
pavement tester
(APT). TRI also has
a large cyclic plate load (CPL) testing device
to determine performance of a variety of
simulations. An unlimited number of custom
test configurations can be built, tested and
monitored using these facilities. Applications
might include roadways, geosyntheticreinforced pavements, rail and more.
Performance data is needed by manufacturers
to establish the benefit of using their product.
As an independent testing lab, TRI is a credible
source of reliable and accurate performance
data. Because tests can be conducted at fullscale or near full-scale and are built in a highly
controlled manner, test data can be directly
related to full-scale field applications.
