Blasters Forum
On Monday, select authors had an opportunity to
present their papers in a one-on-one relaxed atmosphere.
This forum is quickly becoming a favorite for attendees and
authors.
Annual Awards and Recognition Banquet
On Tuesday evening, ISEE held its annual awards and
recognition banquet. This year’s banquet included an auction to support the SEE Education Foundation. Proceeds go
directly towards the ISEE scholarship fund.

Section Meetings
The Drilling, Seismograph, and Fragblast sections of ISEE
meet annually for lunch on Tuesday at the conference.The
sections discuss special projects they are working on such
as the Blasting and Fragmentation Journal and best practices or standards. Featured speakers were invited to this
year’s section meetings, Dave Leidel (drilling) and Colin
Matheson (seismograph).

water/sand hydraulic fracturing.
