Oklahoma natural Gas and Landmark Fine Homes have partnered
to create a 4,000-square-foot model home showcasing 15 different
residential uses for natural gas. Donna Thompson, Landmark’s marketing
director, told American Gas that the cnG-powered backup generator by
Kohler and the garage cnG auto filling station from Fuelmaker have gotten the most attention from people who have toured the house, located in
the upscale subdivision of carrington Lakes in norman, Okla. The home
includes both tankless and conventional natural gas water heaters as well
as a natural gas dryer, oven, and fireplace. in the outdoor, natural gasheated pool and spa area, there are gas lanterns with electric ignition, a
gas-powered pizza oven and grill, a fireplace, and hookups for portable
gas heaters. The home even features a natural gas-powered electric
generator for the few energy needs that still require electricity. The house,
which is for sale for around $700,000, will be open for tours through the
