80TH SCIENTIFIC SESSIONS NEWS

The Scientific Sessions (#ADA2020) Heads to Chicago!
Mark your calendars now for the
world's largest meeting on diabetes-
the American Diabetes Association's
(ADA's) 80th Scientific Sessions.
Next year's meeting will be held June
12-16, 2020, at the McCormick Place
Convention Center in Chicago, IL.
The Scientific Sessions offers researchers
and health care professionals an amazing opportunity to share ideas and learn
about significant advances in diabetes
research, treatment, and care. Over
the course of five days, attendees will
receive exclusive access to more than
2,800 original research presentations,
take part in provocative and engaging
exchanges with leading diabetes experts,
and expand professional networks with
colleagues from around the world.
The program will start on Friday, June
12, 2020, at 11:30 a.m. and conclude on
Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 12:15 p.m.

Program Development
The overall philosophy of the Scientific
Sessions is to present research and opinions that are not heard at other meetings
and conferences held throughout the
year. The Scientific Sessions Meeting
Planning Committee develops, plans,
and assesses the educational content
of the meeting. Its members provide
professional education opportunities
designed to meet the needs of the ADA's
diverse membership and constituencies
and provide comprehensive leadership
and oversight of the scientific program to
ensure that the meeting meets or exceeds
the quality criteria set forth by the ADA.
Visit scientificsessions.diabetes.org later
this month for more information about
the exciting sessions being developed for
the 2020 program.
