This issue highlights several ways in which PCRMC is putting patients and the community first. On page 3, we announce a new name in the battle against cancer: The Delbert Day Cancer Institute. PCRMC has already offered a comprehensive and nationally accredited cancer care program, but with a very generous donation by Ted and Kim Day in honor of Ted’s father, Dr. Delbert Day, PCRMC is expanding cancer services to include research and participation in national clinical trials. On pages 50–51, we show how teams of PCRMC employees worked together with hospital leadership to improve the emergency department and patient care. And on page 56, we introduce you to two new physicians who have joined the PCRMC Medical Group. Our Sleep Center has earned national accreditation and offers patients a higher standard of care.
