Randy received his first authority license from the Illinois Commerce Commission – allowing delivery of electrical supplies, office supplies, printed matter, and beauty supplies – within a 50mile radius of Chicago. Quick Delivery Service started off slow, with one client who paid $6 on the first day of business and a net of $18 for the first week. As the company began to grow, Randy acquired a location in the Tollway Industrial Park. In 1988, Quick Delivery Service was able to obtain a General Commodity Authority with a radius scope of 160 miles and the ability to use trucks. In 1996, Quick Delivery Service moved to their current location at 632 Pratt Avenue. Quick Delivery Service has grown to 80 employees and recently celebrated their 1.5 millionth delivery.
