Telemetrics RoboEye 12G:
Big Image In A Small Package
H
ighly popular with broadcasters, corporate
AV facilities and Houses of Worship, the
Telemetrics RoboEye 12G is a compact, fully
integrated, aesthetically pleasing robotic camera
system that includes a 4K digital camera with a
1 " -type EXMOR R CMOS sensor, zoom lens and
a compact pan/tilt head. Robotic servo controls and
motors of ultra-high position and velocity accuracy
make RoboEye the perfect choice for on-air use.
With advanced
servo motors
and
image
stabilization, the RoboEye can perform precise,
ultra-quiet smooth moves that are ideal for live
on-air operation, while its 60p (HD) frame rate
accurately
captures
fast moving action.
The
system's 4K sensor and built-in ND filters deliver
the sensitivity and exposure latitude required for a
variety of lighting situations.
This degree of high accuracy also makes RoboEye
12G the perfect choice for use with augmented
reality or virtual systems-without any peripherals
required.
RoboEye's internal camera offers both optical
and digital zoom in 4K and 24x when shooting in
HD (1080p60). With an MOD of 80-1000mm, the
system also performs image magnification by using
the optical image stabilizer function to zoom in
an image and combine the sensor's optical zoom
and electronic zoom. This helps reduce
image degradation. The camera's

Studio or LGS Legislative software packages, the
RoboEye leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and
facial
recognition algorithms built
into reFrame
talent and object tracking software to keep talent
in frame at all times. The software locks the camera
onto the talent and automatically trims the shot,
without the operator ever having to touch the
controls.
Easy
integration into existing studios
is
accomplished with an RJ45 PoE network interface
which allows users to access video, control, and
data - and supply power to the
system - via a single cable, while
also accommodating serial and local
power
interfaces. H.264 and H.265
streaming output (selectable) is included for live
streaming directly from the camera, and a Web GUI
provides simplified control from virtually anywhere.
A rugged design satisfies military applications as
well as demanding commercial and industrial users
where high reliability and smooth and accurate
camera performance are a must. RoboEye 12G's

Ikegami UHK-X700 4K-UHD HDR Cameras
Chosen by Spanish Public Service Broadcaster

kegami Electronics announces the delivery of
27 UHK-X700 4K-UHD HDR camera systems to a
leading Iberian public service television network.
The project was completed in three groups. The
first two, totalling 18 cameras, were provided for
mobile production applications controlled from OB
trucks. The third phase comprised nine additional
cameras for studio productions at the broadcaster's
headquarters.

by the network's operational and technical team as
offering the highest quality at the most competitive
price of the various solutions evaluated, " says

27 camera chains includes a VFL-701D 7 inch studio
viewfinder, BSX-100U base station and OCP-300
operation control panel. We also supplied eight
VFL201D 2-inch monocular viewfinders and three
Ikegami MCP master control panels. "

has an optical sensitivity of F11 when operating
at 4K/50p. It is designed for use at -20 to +45°C
operating temperature and 30% to 90% noncondensing
humidity. The camera is uniformly
balanced and has a low centre of gravity to ensure
easy operation on a pedestal, tripod or shoulder.

includes a touchscreen LCD with rotary encoders
plus a memory card slot for full camera setup
and filing capability. The OCP-300 also supports
PoE, powering over Ethernet, so separate power
supplies are not necessary.
