TOGETHER POSSIBLE WE WORK WITH BUSINESSES THAT WANT TO PLAY THEIR PART IN PROTECTING AND RESTORING OUR PLANET. Building transformative business partnerships is an important way for us to scale up our efforts to reverse the loss of nature. These take many forms with businesses operating across a variety of sectors and geographies. For example, we work with them to reduce their environmental impacts, as well as improve their efficiency, within their operations and across supply chains. We support efforts to create long-term systemic change, ranging from innovative sustainable solutions to changing consumer behaviour. And we partner with committed businesses to raise funds for conservation. Businesses, working together, can also be key advocates for broader global efforts to protect and restore nature. In 2019, we joined forces with 12 other partners to establish the Business for Nature global coalition - helping to convene a united business voice for nature that contributes to our efforts for a New Deal for Nature and People in 2020 and beyond. The coalition brings influential organizations like WWF together with forward-thinking businesses to demonstrate business ambition and action to protect and restore nature.
