APPLAUSE
F HALL OF FAME
On October 13, 2023, Thaddeus Stevens College held
its Annual Athletic Hall of Fame Awards, recognizing
those who have been leaders and supporters of the
College's athletics program. Inductees included Jenelle
Clayborne, the first female student-athlete inductee,
who competed in Track & Field in '01 and '02. The
College also honored Phil York posthumously for his
dedication as an athletic trainer, coach, and equipment
manager for 20 years with the football team. The
College also named Joe Ganse, a coach for 18 seasons
with the football team. He had an impressive football
and baseball sports record in high school and college.
F PROJECT MFG SECOND-PLACE NATIONAL
COMPETITION WINNERS
Four students who graduated from Thaddeus Stevens
College of Technology in 2023 achieved second place in
a national manufacturing competition hosted by Project
MFG. Quinn Baughman, Ryan O'Donnell, Matt Mykut,
and Nate Robbins, all second-year students during
the competition in the spring of 2023, competed with
dozens of teams from across the country to make it to
the final national competition. Each level of the annual
tournament involves real-world scenarios, challenging
the team to demonstrate critical skills needed to succeed
in modern advanced manufacturing. Quinn, Ryan,
and Nate majored in Computer Integrated Machining,
while Matt majored in Metals Fabrication & Welding.

and 20 years of perfect attendance
TIM BAMBRICK, Class of '04,
celebrated 6 years at Spanco, Inc.
JESSE ECKERT, Class of '94,
was promoted to Senior Manager of Manufacturing
and Process Development at TE Connectivity
THE CLASS OF 1965
held a reunion in Tower City at the Brown
Jug with 16 graduates attending. It was
the 18th reunion held by the class.

CRAIG MARTIN, Class of '08,
cycled over 1,000 miles from Washington DC
to La Push, Washington!
MEGAN CALDWELL, Class of '02,
celebrated 25 years at Masonic Villages
of Pennsylvania
SAM VAN CLEVE, Class of '03,
celebrated 20 years at Benchmark
Construction Company
SHAWN PETTIS, Class of '14,
launched a new business, Honey Black Candles
JEREMY SHOBER, Class of '05 & '07,
celebrated 8 years at Amphenol High
Speed Interconnect
ANDREW FOSTER, Class of '03,
started a new position as a Commissioned
Boiler Inspector at the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania Department of Labor
ANDREW CAMERON, Class of '19,
received his Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical Engineering
