Carmine Bourelly (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) (carmine.bourelly@unicas.it)
received the master degree in
26
electrical engineering from the University of Cassino and
Southern Lazio, Cassino, Italy in 2017, where he is currently
pursuing the Ph.D. degree. His main interests are focused
on battery state of charge estimation, and his research interests
include detection of pollutants in wastewater, systems
for measuring radon concentration in air and evaluation of
meter accuracy in NILM applications. He worked as an Engineer
in research and development area at Italian Company
Sensichips s.r.l.
Domenico Capriglione (Senior Member, IEEE) (capriglione@
unicas.it) is an Associate Professor of electrical and electronic
measurements with the University of Cassino and Southern
Lazio, Italy. His current research interests include measurements
on RF and telecommunication systems, DSP-based
measurement systems, network measurements, and measurement
of electromagnetic compatibility. Since 2016, he has
served as the Chair for the IEEE I&M Technical Committee TC37:
Measurements and Networking.
Chiara Carissimo (Graduate Student Member IEEE) (chiara.carissimo@unicas.it)
is a pursuing the Ph.D. degree in methods,
models and technologies for engineering at the University of
Cassino and Southern Lazio, Italy, where her research activity
is focused on the detection of movement disorders using measurements
from wearable devices and the implementation of
machine learning algorithm to analyze data and to classify movement
disorders in patients with neurodegenerative diseases. She
earned her master degree in electrical engineering in 2019 from
the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Cassino, Italy. She
received a research grant from the University of Salerno, Italy
and worked there from May 2020 to December 2020.
Filippo Milano (Member, IEEE) (filippo.milano@unicas.it) is a Research
Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Information
Engineering, University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Cassino,
Italy. His research interests involve the design, implementation
and characterization of positioning systems for biomedical and industrial
applications, the development of models and techniques
for the predictive batteries diagnosis and thickness estimation of
metal laminates using eddy current techniques.
Luca Tari (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) (luca.tari@unicas.
it) is pursuing the Ph.D. degree within the Department of Electrical
Engineering, University of Cassino and Southern Lazio,
Italy, where he received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering
in October 2021. His current research interests concern
electrical and electronic measurements in the field of Smart
Energy. In particular, he is working in the design of innovative
Smart Meters and the development of methods and techniques
for monitoring, analysis, energy efficiency, fault detection and
predictive diagnostics.
