Who’s Who New CEO at La Perla North America La Perla announced the appointment of Suzy Biszantz as Chief Executive Officer of La Perla, North America. Ms. Biszantz will be based in the New York office and will report to Jeff Hansen, CEO of La Perla Srl based in Italy. Suzy joins La Perla after a seven year tenure as President and CEO of Greg Norman Collection, the premium brand leader in golf-inspired apparel, formerly owned by Reebok. “The company has significant growth opportuSUZY BISZANTZ nities in North America and we’re confident under Suzy’s leadership, the brand will grow to its full potential,” said Hansen. “She will also be instrumental in collaborating with our customers and our design team in Italy to create the appropriate product assortment for this important market.” In addition to running the wholesale operations for North America, Ms. Biszantz will be responsible for the company’s nine retail stores and three outlets. Jeanine Milillo joins PeclersParis Styling and trend forecasting agency PeclersParis announced the appointment of Jeanine Milillo as Managing Director for PeclersParis North America Inc. Eric Duchamp, President & CEO of PeclersParis said, “At a time when PeclersParis is accelerating its development in the US market, Jeannine’s experience and leadership will be instrumental to bring value to your strategic and creative thinking leveraging all PeclersParis expertise.” Previously Jeanine was Vice-President Trend Resources at ESP TrendLab in New York. JEANINE MILILLO New appointment at Hyosung Hyosung Corporation announced the appointment of Ria Stern as Global Marketing & Brand Director. Ria, currently Hyosung’s North American Marketing Director, will now assume responsibility for all markets and is supported by a global team including Stephanie Ledru Marketing Director Europe, Simon Je Marketing Director China, and Fernando Roland Marketing Director South America. “I look forward to continue driving the global expansion of Hyosung’s apparel fiber brands that includes the opening of our new spandex brand creora® production facility in Turkey this year” said Ria. RIA STERN Tracy Lewis at Eveden Tracy Lewis has taken over as CEO of Eveden Group US. The four person team led by Lewis will be in charge of Sales and Product, CSD and Distribution, Supply Chain and Finance. Tracy Lewis who joined the company five years ago, has made a lasting impact on the lingerie and swimwear manufacturer which specializes in fuller busts with the launching of the UK retail and the introduction of three new brands since her arrival. Prior to joining Eveden , Tracy was Head of Selling and Marketing at Marks and Spencer for two years, where she integrated the Per Una sub-brand into Womenswear and supported its expansion. Tracy then focused her efforts on childrenswear launching the DB07 range developed in conjunction with David Beckham. Further Tracy launched lingerie ranges in the UK for Etam and Next where she worked earlier in her career as head of Retailer and Regional Manager respectively. New design director for Cosabella Cosabella announced that Teresa D'Souza has joined the company in the position of design director. Ms. D’Souza will be based in Miami, Florida where she will report directly to the owners of Cosabella, husband and wife team Ugo and Valeria Campello. Teresa is a highly skilled and well-known British designer with an extensive background and expertise designing for the lingerie market. Before joining the Cosabella team, Teresa acted as the lingerie design TERESA D’SOUZA consultant to the high street retailer Topshop, where she was responsible for developing fashion forward collections for their Oxford Street Flagship Store. Additionally, Ms. D’Souza founded and was the sole designer for the Muse brand since 1998. Chris de Moulin joins Magic Magic International announced the appointment as President of Chris de Moulin. Also Executive Vice President of Advanstar’s Fashion Group, Chris has built his career developing alliances with both fashion manufacturers and retailers, making him the perfect candidate for the position. Prior to joining MAGIC, Chris received an extensive experience in the fashion, retail and marketing sectors as the Senior Vice President, Retail Alliances of Disney’s CHRIS DE MOULIN $23 billion Consumer Products Group. Chris understands the importance of customer relationship as the key to success and in joining MAGIC International, De Moulin will focus on strengthening the alliances between exhibitors and retailers, developing initiatives that will drive increased marketplace value, and will continually offer customers with new opportunities to write business, network and confirm relationships.
