Experience four decades of music history
Divas3, a Las Vegas based trio of female
vocalists, is slated to perform at the Griffin Auditorium
on Feb. 23 and at Wesley United Methodist Church at
Frederica on St. Simons Island on Feb. 24.
Accompanied by a piano, the three women
sing the biggest hits of the most popular divas in
music history, including Aretha Franklin, Dolly
Parton, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Cher. The
show spans four decades, from the 1960s through
the 1990s.
" These are familiar songs that everyone will
recognize, " says Nancy Allen, producer of Divas3. " But
they're done in a way that makes you think about the
songs in a way you never have before. It reinvigorates
these songs, and there's a touch of old-time Las Vegas
glamour. It's an evening full of glamour and class. "
