Here's a look back at two-plus days of non-stop networking
offered by BDNY: 1 the show's entry bustled throughout the
event; the action started the night before the show at Vermilion,
with the ISHP Annual Fundraiser and BDNY Opening Reception,
whose attendees included 2 Dori Kallweit, MTI Baths; Jason
Reynolds, Moen Inc.; Gina Joyce, Joyce Design Group; Jennifer
Wellman, Lexmark + Northwest Hospitality Carpets; Morgan
Brodey, Jaclo; Evan Guerrero, Flick Mars; 3 Barbara BestSantos, Gensler; Quinn Mayer, Envel Design; Lisa Villarreal, Lily
Jack; Alan Mandel, Majestic Mirror & Frame; 4 Jennifer Ramsey,
Ramsey Purchasing; Amy Jakubowski, Puccini Group; Becka
Chester, Hospitality Design Specialist; and Kimberly Roeser,
Valley Forge Fabrics; 5 day one of the show kicked off with the
"New in New York" panel, featuring (left to right) Gray Davis
and Will Meyer, Meyer Davis Studio; Michael Gabellini, Gabellini
Sheppard Associates; Waad El Hadidy, Starwood Capital Group;
Shawn Sullivan, Rockwell Group; and Natalia Todorova, Gene
Kaufman Architect PC; 6 exhibit spaces, such as that of Littman
Brands Contract, were abuzz both days of the show;

design industry, drew a record 5,800 attendees to the
Jacob K. Javits Convention Center for its sixth run,
November 8-9, charting a 16 percent increase in attendance year-over-year. Also hitting a new high was exhibit
space, which covered 82,000 sq. ft., with 547 manufacturers and marketers showcasing furniture, lighting,
textiles, fixtures, floorcoverings, wallcoverings, artwork
and other design elements for hospitality interiors. In
addition to getting the inside scoop on the latest product
offerings, attendees could also take advantage of the
show's largest conference program to date, featuring more
than 30 interactive discussions with more than 100
leading hospitality owners, developers, designers, architects and procurement specialists.
