range of auxiliary equipment

Wittmann Battenfeld Inc. of
Torrington, Conn., features a
wide range of auxiliary equipment, including dryers, temperature controllers, granulators,
material handlers and loaders,
robots and blenders at NPE2018.
Among beside-the-press dryers, Wittmann's next-generation
Aton plus H Series segmented
wheel dryer has multiple features beyond those on the Aton
basic G model.
The portable Aton plus H interfaces with the Wittmann 4.0
communications protocol, has
integrated conveying control
and offers EcoMode indexing
regeneration during lower water
load.
The Aton plus H color touch
screen display uses ambiLED
ambient light and can control up
to 24 loaders.
The Aton plus VS compact
dryer option allows for integration of a vacuum blower in the
frame under the drying unit.
Wittmann has a new SpeedDrive option for the plus models
of its temperature controllers.
Both the Tempro plus D with

maximum temperature up to
360° F and the Tempro direct
plus D, up to 250° F, have color
visualization of the mold status,
configurable touch screen displays and Wittmann 4.0 interfacing.
The SpeedDrive option for the
plus models consists of a motor
speed-controlled pump that offers users additional options to
boost efficiency in the injection
molding process.
Wittmann's new portable
S-Max series of granulators is intended for closed-loop recycling
of sprues from injection molding
machines with clamping forces
up to 300 tons.
The S-Max has a remote control that replaces a granulator's
usual fixed electrical control
panel.
The design provides good access to the cutting chamber for
cleaning and has an alarm sensor for the regrind level and a
swivel-outlet pipe.
Wittmann also displays models 12, 23 and 33 in the G-Max

series of beside-the-press granulators targeted for closed-loop
recycling of sprues and runners
from injection machines with
clamping forces up to 400 tons.
For central material handling,
Wittmann displays the Drymax
E FC Plus battery dryer, which
is equipped with two desiccant
beds and the capability for continuous process air quality. A
frequency controller blower enhances the operation. A user can
automatically switch additional
dryers on or off.
Wittmann's Codemax radio
frequency identification distribution station uses wireless
communication to verify material connections and has a Wittmann M7.3 central control and
an interface control for verifying
correct selection.
Wittmann's Feedmax S 3-net
single loader has a 1,100-watt
motor and is designed for conveying up to 441 pounds per
hour.
The status board with ambiLED ambient light is visible
from a distance.
A polyester microfiber filter
with an automatic cleaning system assures that any intake and

Chassis mount solid state relays (SSRs) available in
one, two or three pole switching designs. Single phase
