CMA CGM Group has signed a
concession agreement placing its
Caribbean transshipment hub at the
Kingston Container Terminal in Jamaica and has launched a new weekly

firm TNT Express N.V. for $4.8 billion.
Hendrickson USA LLC has
acquired the Frauenthal leaf spring
and stabilizer business of the Austrian
Frauenthal Group in a transaction for
which financial details were not announced. Also, Hendrickson has signed
an agreement for Wabco to provide an
advanced air disc brake system for its
North American trailers.
Aqua Gulf Transport has introduced Aqua Gulf Northeast Express
Service, or AGNEX, to Puerto Rico.
The U.S. Surface Transportation
Board has approved a proposal by CSX
Corp. and Anacostia Rail Holdings

unit Louisville & Indiana Railroad to
upgrade the freight line between Indianapolis and Louisville, Ky., including links to Ports of Indiana facilities
in Jeffersonville, Ind.
Canadian National Railway Co.
plans to build a $200 million intermodal and logistics hub adjacent to its
main line in Milton, Ontario, about 30
miles west of Toronto.
Kansas City Southern Railway
Co. is spending about $19 million to
improve its Beaumont Subdivision
line between Beaumont, Texas, and
DeQuincy, La., and investing about
$18 million on construction and
improvement projects along its line
between the Texas cities of Laredo
and Corpus Christi.
Ferrocarril Mexicano S.A. de
C.V. is taking delivery of 19 electromotive diesel locomotives, bringing
its total fleet of such units to 116.
Norfolk Southern Corp. has
completed a doubling of classroom
space at its Railroad University campus in McDonough, Ga., just south of
Atlanta.
Celadon Group Inc. has opened
a driver-training center in the Denver
suburb of Henderson, Colo., its fifth
such Quality Drivers School location.
Con-way Multimodal has relocated its Bentonville, Ark., office to an
expanded facility.
Crowley Maritime Corp. has
deployed a new flat-deck barge in its
Puerto Rico trade. Also, Crowley has
joined the Trident Alliance, a coalition that supports enforcement of
maritime sulphur regulations.
CenterPoint Properties has
acquired a 27-building industrial park
portfolio in Houston that offers ready
access to Union Pacific Railroad and
BNSF Railway Co. yards, as well as
Port of Houston Authority facilities. Also, CenterPoint has acquired
