ADM announces several key
senior management changes
DECATUR, ILL. - Archer Daniels Midland Co. last week announced various
senior management changes, which will
create an organizational structure that
will streamline company operations,
ADM officials said.
William H. Camp has been named
executive vice-president with responsibility for global processing. Mr. Camp
joined the company in 1985 and previously was senior vice-president of oilseeds processing, cocoa and milling.
Since joining ADM, Mr. Camp has
held several management positions in the
company, including vice-president and
president of ADM transportation, group
vice-president and president of the ADM
South American division and group vicepresident and president of the ADM North
American oilseed processing division.
John D. Rice has been named executive vice-president with responsibility
for global marketing and risk management. Mr. Rice joined ADM in 1976 and
most recently was senior vice-president
of global bioproducts and food.
In addition, he also has been president
of the North American Oilseed Processing
division, group vice-president and president of the food oils segment and president of the protein specialties division.
Mr. Camp and Mr. Rice jointly will share
responsibility for managing the company's
operating divisions and subsidiaries. They
will report to Paul B. Mulhollem, president
and chief operating officer of ADM.
Edward A. Harjehausen has been named
senior vice-president with responsibility for
food and feed ingredients. Mr. Harjehausen
joined the company in 1975 and has held

several management positions within
ADM in the corn processing, bioproducts,
food additives and feed divisions.
Mr. Harjehausen previously was
group vice-president and president of
the ADM corn processing and specialty
feed ingredients divisions.
Jankees van der Wild has been named
group vice-president with responsibility
for the global oilseed businesses. Mr. van
der Wild joined the company in 1991 and
has held various commercial and management positions for ADM's crushing
and refining operation in Europe, including president of ADM European oilseed
processing. Mr. van der Wild previously
was president of the ADM North American oilseed processing division.
Mark A. Bemis has been elected vicepresident. He will continue his responsibility for the global cocoa business as
president of ADM Cocoa.
Mr. Bemis joined the company in 1983.
During his tenure, Mr. Bemis' experience
includes merchandising management for
the Little Rock, Ark., and Des Moines,
Iowa, soybean facilities before he was
named vice-president and general manager, North American division-ADM cocoa.
Randy Moon has been named vicepresident of human resources. Mr. Moon
joined ADM in 2002 as vice-president of
compensation and benefits.
In this capacity, he was responsible
for the company's global compensation
and benefits programs. Prior to joining
ADM, Mr. Moon was employed by CSX
Corp. and managed the employe benefits and human resources management

Dennis Bunck has been promoted to executive vice-president and chief
operating officer of J.R. Short Milling Co., Kankakee,
Ill. Mr. Bunck has more than 25 years of experience in
the flour milling and food service industries. His most
recent position with Short was senior vice-president and
general manager. Mr. Bunck spent 19 years at ConAgra
Foods, Inc. where he was a flour milling plant manager
at a number of locations throughout the United States.
Thomas Manuel, a retired executive of ConAgra
Foods, Inc., has joined the board of directors of DTN, Omaha, a provider of real-time information services. Mr. Manuel
spent 25 years at ConAgra in several positions, including Bunck
president and chief operating officer of the ConAgra Trading and Processing companies. He also was assistant to the chairman and general
manager of several ConAgra business units. Mr. Manuel currently is managing director of International Strategy Advisors, a company he established. The business
focuses on investment banking and consulting in the food and agriculture areas.
DTN also named Hugh Yarrington to its board. Mr. Yarrington is president of Wolters Kluwer U.S., a leading information services company. MBN
