Key Features High reflectivity at 45° for all polarizations High damage thresholds at 363 nm, 248 nm, and 193 nm Designed to meet stringent performance and lifetime standards for state-of-the-art, laserbased applications including lithography and micromachining O P T I C S We are excited to offer the New Focus® high-precision, flat, 45°tuning mirrors for UV laser-based applications including semiconductor manufacturing (metrology and lithography) and micromachining applications. Because the optics are completely manufactured — from grinding, polishing to coating — in a single, dedicated, environmentally isolated area, these optics are virtually free of contamination and deliver superior performance with respect to longevity and damage resistance for UV and DUV wavelengths. The use of both e-beam and ionassisted deposition-coating techniques results in an ideal thermal match between substrate and coating, minimizing stress at the coating interface, and resulting in highly flat, durable coatings. Key Features >99% reflectivity from 0° to 45° for all polarizations High damage thresholds for 532 nm and 1064 nm applications High surface quality at low prices 532 nm Nd:YAG Mirrors The New Focus® 532 nm mirrors are designed for use with highpower frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser beams. They have a reflectivity of greater than 99% from 0° to 45° at 532 nm for all polarizations and can withstand up to 3 J/cm2 in a 10 ns pulse. These mirrors are designed to reflect only in the green, and are perfect for use after dichroic mirrors or prisms that have already separated the doubled light from the fundamental. As with our dielectric and general purpose metal mirrors, we chose Pyrex® material as a substrate material to keep your cost down while providing a high quality surface finish. Because Pyrex has inhomogeneities in its refractive index, these mirrors are not suited for transmissive applications; we fine-grind the substrate back to prevent inadvertent transmissions. 1064 nm Nd:YAG Mirrors These mirrors are designed specifically for use with high-power Nd:YAG lasers operating in the 1 µm range. Suitable for use with almost all commercial lasers built today, they can withstand up to 5 J/cm 2 at 1.06 µm in a 10 ns pulse. The reflectivity is greater than 99% from 0° to 45° at 1.06 µm for all polarizations. In addition, these mirrors have a reflectivity of 40% for 633 nm light at angles of incidence up to 45°. This makes them especially convenient when you are using a HeNe laser as an alignment tool. This mirror is available in both 1" and 2" versions WEB See our website for more info. Please click here.
