HP Latex Printers
HP (Palo Alto, CA) is announcing
two new products – the HP Latex
3000 printer and the HP Scitex
FB10000 industrial press – and the
rebranding of its HP Designjet and
Scitex latex-ink printers and supplies
as HP Latex. The HP Latex 3000
can produce 830 sq. ft./hr. for
indoor applications, and 1,290
sq. ft./hr. for outdoor applications.
It images with HP’s new, scratchresistant, HP 881 latex inks that
feature lower-temperature curing
than previous HP Latex printers.
HP Latex inks are UL ECOLOGO
and GREENGUARD Gold CertifiedSM,
and the prints meet AgBB criteria
and are A+ rated by Émissions
dans l’air intérieur, the company
states.
HP is also introducing its six-color,
direct-to-board, HP Scitex FB10000
industrial press that features HP
Scitex high-dynamic range (HDR)
– 16 gray level – print technology.
The FB10000 images up to 6,727
sq. ft./hr.

frames for silicone-edged
graphics (SEG). SEGs are highresolution, dye-sublimated
graphics with thin, silicone
perimeters that insert into
aluminum-frame grooves. The
company offers the frames for
