Acadian Total Security
Video Makes for Engaging Viewing Experience
The COVID-19 pandemic created a bit of a
conundrum when it came to getting face-toface
with prospective customers. The majority
of businesses relied on sending emails, making
phone calls or having virtual meetings. Not content
with that status

screen to convey information. " With limited
face-to-face meetings, we needed a piece that
was intriguing, informative and impressive
enough to set Acadian Total Security above
our competitors, " explains Michelle Trahan,
division coordinator, Acadian.
Clad in ATS' colors and branding, the
tablet-size brochure focuses on the integrator's
various commercial off erings. The inside
left cover features a descriptive paragraph
detailing the commercial services. On the
right side, a 5-inch video screen automatically
plays upon opening that outlines the history
of the company. Under the screen are controls
to play/pause, skip video, return to previous
video and volume buttons.
Beneath the controls are buttons that can
be pressed to play videos for diff erent services
provided by ATS. The access control button takes
the viewer through the company's Cloud-based
access control solutions and integration possibilities.
The security/fi re protection button delves
into available sensors, including heat and smoke.
The A/V integration button details the company's
services related to intercoms, lighting
and shade controls, televisions, and speakers.
The thermographic cameras video explains
ATS' new solutions related to thermal screening,
as well as other health screening solutions
provided by its other divisions.
The fl eet management button gives an
overview of the company's Total Fleet Management
platform, which includes GPS tracking,
detailed reporting, dash cams and more.
Lastly, a video surveillance button delves into
the integrator's myriad surveillance solutions
and live video monitoring.

Knoxville, Tenn.'s His Security & Technology
(HST) may be a small, local integrator, but
it has come to be known as a giant when it
comes to raising money for the American Cancer
Society in East Tennessee. Co-owner Scott
Brockamp has been one of the Knoxville " Real
Men Wear Pink " candidates for four years now.
HST says Brockamp is always at the top of the
list for fundraising locally, placing fi rst in three
out of four years. This past year he not only

raised the most locally, but made it into the
top 10 of the entire country.
Despite the pandemic forcing changes to
planned events and opportunities, Brockamp
was able to raise more than $50,000 to help
keep local services and research funded for his
local American Cancer Society (ACS).
His leadership and encouragement also
helped the entire Knoxville Real Men Wear
Pink contingent to set records for fundraising
