Jeff Condie FI EL D T EC H N I C I A N S U PER V I S O R + Star of the Month TA M PA , FLO R I DA OFF THE CHART Jeff's LUV for Southwest can't be measured. When he's not busy fishing, hunting, and keeping his daughters' cars running, Jeff Condie is working as a Southwest Airlines Field Technician Supervisor. Jeff has been a proud member of the Southwest Family for nearly 20 of his 23 years in the industry. In his role at Southwest, he assists aircraft mechanics by troubleshooting problems with various aircraft systems. Jeff started his career working for a different carrier in 1991, but he moved to Dallas to work for Southwest shortly after. He did overnight plane maintenance for six years before relocating to his current home in Tampa, Florida. "Every night working for Southwest brings something new," Jeff says. "There is always a different challenge, and I love tackling each one." Jeff grew up with three brothers in Pittsburgh and has always been close with his family. Luckily, when he travels to Dallas for training he gets to see his brother Greg, a fellow Southwest Employee. Jeff also takes advantage of every opportunity to travel on his days off. He loves vacationing with his wife, Lori, and his teenage daughters, Emma and Kara. Jeff made his favorite Southwest memory before he even started working for the Company. When he and Lori went to Dallas Love Field to pick up an Employment application for him, Lori, who was a flight attendant for another airline at the time, noticed that every Southwest Employee was polite, cheerful, and willing to help. "It was definitely something we weren't accustomed to while working at our previous carriers," Jeff says. After 19 years, he's still excited to come to work every day. "Southwest has given me the Freedom to work with the most dedicated, diverse, and Fun-LUVing People, and I see Freedom as the right and ability to do anything and everything you set your mind to," he says.
