JUNIOR GOLF FOUNDATION
The foundation offers golf activities
to interested juniors connected to
The Villages community and helps
elevate the competitive level of The
Villages Charter School golf teams. PGA,
LPGA and U.S. Kids Golf pros provide
instruction to kids, and volunteers are
needed to assist instructors with lessons
and clinics.

ADOPT-A-KID, ADOPT-A-VET
Veterans educate local schoolchildren
about their sacrifices, our nation's heritage
and respect for the flag. The Veterans'
Memorial Park of The Villages founded
the program and recently partnered with
Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1036.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB
Inspire and empower young people to
realize their full potential as productive,
responsible and caring citizens.
Volunteers are needed to coach sports
teams, tutor children and help with
administrative and office work.

TUTORS FOR KIDS
More than 500 volunteer tutors serve
12 local schools, mentoring 2,800
students in reading, writing, math and
science every week. Tutors also pass out
books throughout the school year. Visit

CAMP BOGGY CREEK
This year-round camp about an hour
east of The Villages creates special
experiences for children with chronic and
serious illnesses. Volunteers are needed
in housekeeping, office support, events,
food service and camp counselor roles.

MARION THERAPEUTIC
RIDING ASSOCIATION
As a nonprofit organization, MTRA
provides therapeutic riding classes for
disabled children and adults, veterans
and at-risk youth. Volunteers work in
classes with the riders and horses and
do office work or facilities maintenance.
We continue to need your care and
support.

FALLEN VETERANS
PROGRAM
Volunteers help place and pick
up flags on veterans'
graves before and after
Memorial Day at Florida
National Cemetery in
Bushnell. Flag placement
is on May 24, and pickup is
