T

Telemetrics TG-5 Robotic Camera
Trolley has been extremely positive,
as it allows set designers to tightly
integrate robotic camera tracks and
trolley systems into their projects

show in Las Vegas this month.
The TG-5 retains some design
elements from its predecessor TG-4
trolley, but has been significantly
improved with special
safety
features
and many
AI-assisted
more
operational capabilities.

be embedded into and flush with
the floor, making it ideal to blend

the track showing or causing safety

modern housing that can easily be

stop if a person walks across
the track or if there are set

built-in LEDs that light up to indicate if
there is a person or object in its path
under normal operating conditions.
Finally, it includes additional safety
features to detect failures in any of
the components. For example, if the
system senses a problem with a part
of the trolley, it will automatically shut
it down.

the
electronics inside the housing with
fewer components for robustness,
easy maintenance and long-term
reliability, " he added.
The trolley
is
ideal
for AR/VR
systems, with Absolute Positioning
built in, there is no drift and the
system does not require recalibration.
Users can also operate and control
multiple camera trollies on the same
track. Systems can be customized
to meet individual requirements for
straight and curved track rails.
The TG-5 is backward compatible
existing

or straight),
elevating columns and the
full line of S5 series and RoboEye 12G
4K robotic pan/tilt camera systems. It
is now in full production and will ship
under normal lead times.
