Nighthawk Flight Systems and Fieldtech Avionics & Instruments
NIGHTHAWK FLIGHT SYSTEMS and FIELDTECH
AVIONICS & INSTRUMENTS jointly announced the
Nighthawk Flight Systems Displays exchange program.
Located in Vista, California, Nighthawk Flight
Systems noted it is dedicated to enhancing flight safety
with displays that provide aircrew critical information
and enhanced situational awareness to fly and navigate
their aircraft safely. Fieldtech Avionics & Instruments
was founded in 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas, and has
been providing aftermarket avionics support for 47
years.
As part of the exchange program, Fieldtech Avionics
& Instruments will maintain a thorough inventory of
high-demand new and/or factory-repaired rotatable
inventory of its display products that are available
for immediate exchange. By utilizing the staff and

CIRRUS AIRCRAFT, in collaboration with
GARMIN, announced that its Vision Jet Safe Return
Emergency Autoland system has received type
certificate approval from the National Civil Aviation
Agency (ANAC) of Brazil. Safe Return Emergency
Autoland is a system, enabled by Garmin's Collier
award-winning Autoland technology, that allows
passengers to autonomously land the Vision Jet
with the touch of a single button in the event of an
emergency.
With this new type certificate, new Vision Jet
exports and certain aircraft already in Brazil can now
have Safe Return enabled for use.
According to Cirrus, Safe Return Emergency
Autoland was previously certified by the Federal
Aviation Administration in August 2020 and the
European Union Aviation Safety Agency in July 2021.

ALTO Aviation
ALTO AVIATION announced that Mark Reeves has joined
the company as operations project manager at the company's
headquarters in Sterling, Massachusetts. Reeves will report to
Dave Gustafson, director of operations.
Prior to joining ALTO, Reeves was
director of operations at Andover Audio
for more than 10 years, with five years
as procurement operations manager at
Nuance Communications, and director of
engineering and operations at Cambridge
SoundWorks.
Reeves has a master's degree in
business administration and extensive experience as a supply
chain management professional working across multiple industries,
including consumer electronics, software services, metalworking
and contract manufacturing. Additionally, Reeves has
APICS certification and a commercial pilot license.
