ACQUIRES CONTANDA
Institutional Investors, advised by JP
Morgan Asset Management, acquired
liquid storage and logistic service
provider Contanda, based in Houston.
Despite the change in ownership,
Contanda will continue to operate
and work toward its goal of doubling its bulk liquid terminal storage
capability by 2022. The company will
expand into the bulk renewable and
petrochemical markets and maintain
its position in the refined products,
renewable fuels, chemical and agricultural commodity sectors.
"This is an exciting time for
Contanda," said company CEO G.R.
"Jerry" Cardillo. "Our new partners
recognize our long-term growth
potential and are as enthusiastic as we
are to further grow into the renewable
and petrochemical markets."
POLYSI TECHNOLOGIES
ACQUIRES SPECIALTY SILICONE
PRODUCTS' GREASE PRODUCTS

PolySi Technologies Inc. acquired Specialty Silicone Products' (SSP) silicone
grease product line.
"SSP's silicone greases complement
our vast silicone lubricant product line
and enhance our product offering,"
said PolySi President and CEO Chuck
Leuth. "The expanded customer base
in the industrial markets, specifically

on the West Coast, will only allow us
to grow faster in areas we do not have
a strong presence currently."
SSP, based in Ballston Spa, New York,
is a manufacturer of silicone rubber and
greases, which can be used for high-voltage electrical utilities, automotive,
appliance and electronics markets.
INFINEUM HOLDS SIGNING
CEREMONY FOR CHINESE PLANT
EXPANSION

Infineum held a signing ceremony with
Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone, marking
the beginning of Infineum's integrated
manufacturing base phase two project in
Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, China.
"We are excited about this significant milestone in our China business
expansion," said Infineum China
President Mike Chen. "The long-term
trust and support of our customers
as well as our industry partners are a
cornerstone of Infineum's continued
growth in China."
The Chinese plant, which first
began production in March 2016, is
Infineum's first wholly owned blending operation in the country. Phase
one covers 100,000 square meters and
can produce 100,000 metric tons of
lubricant additives per year. Phase two
would cover 130,000 square meters
and increase capacity.

employees: Buck Evans, Kirsten
Knavel and Alexes Morgan.
Bundy brings 13 years of chemical
distribution business experience to
Sea-Land. His responsibilities include
supporting customers on the West
Coast and developing business opportunities in new market areas across
North America.
Evans was promoted to the position
of account manager, after serving
more than 10 years as an inside sales
representative for the company. His
responsibilities now include providing
technical expertise to customers in the
Great Lakes region.
Knavel, who has been with Sea-Land
since 2014, has been promoted to inside
sales representative and will be responsible for supporting customers with daily
business interactions and new product
development projects in the Great Lakes
and Mid-Central regions.
