Working professionals must consider tuition costs, time spent on course work, and more importantly, if that degree will advance their careers. Such examples of return on investment are plentiful, explains Stan Harris, PhD, Associate Dean of Graduate and International Programs in Auburn’s Raymond J. Harbert College of Business. “Our graduates consistently get promotions, lead projects, or take on new responsibilities — often before they finish our 21-month program,” says Harris. “Employers take notice because these individuals are demonstrating commitment to their careers simply by enrolling.” Both the EMBA and the Physicians EMBA enhance students’ business know-how and hone leadership skills through a combination of online course work, five short on-campus residencies, and one ten-day international trip to study global businesses practices. Auburn also offers an Executive Masters of Real Estate Development program. Harris says students value the flexibility of faceto-face interaction and distance learning. “The residencies and trip allow students to bond, bounce ideas off one another, and share work experiences,” he says. “As long as students arrange for those dates, the rest can be managed around their schedules.” For more information: Auburn’s formula of “learn AUBURN UNIVERSITY it today and use it tomorrow” is Auburn, AL one that EMBA graduates can 877.AUB.EMBA take directly to the bank.
