ALTO Aviation is a longtime participant in business
aviation's marketplace for premium cabin entertainment
systems. At the 2022 AEA Convention, the company
brought out its Cadence VIP switch panel. With a single
button, the new panel can activate ALTO's new MySound
Optimization capability, allowing the VIP passenger
to customize and optimize the cabin-wide listening
experience by choosing among three different acoustic
modes. The new Cadence VIP switch panel and MySound
Optimization are available for all retrofit aircraft and new
installations.

feature is independent of the former CMS/IFE system

According to the company, ALTO's digital signal
processing software precisely maps the cabin
loudspeakers' location, making it well-suited for existing
installations and enabling use of the same speaker grills,
minimizing installation time and cost. ALTO's System
Master controller (SM-1070) commands the amplifiers to
select the desired profile, using pre-stored equalization
modes for each aircraft via the on-site tuning ALTO's
Audio System provides.
