The Benefits of Co-Living
Humans are social creatures, but our
modern, digital lives create barriers to the social
interactions we crave. This leaves many of us
feeling isolated, unsupported, and cut off from a
sense of community. Social loneliness can take a
heavy toll, leading to increased health risks such
as high blood pressure, heart disease, depression,
substance abuse, and suicide.
Co-living communities provide the antidote
to this epidemic of isolation by creating inclusive,
sustainable, and multi-generational co-living
communities that combine private living with
shared and supportive spaces. This unique model
provides the resources and support you need to
easily and seamlessly connect and engage with
people all around you.
Co-living may be the latest buzz word in
the housing market, but the idea of shared
housing is nothing new. Whether it be living
in the dorms in college or splitting rent with a
couple of friends, many of us have experienced
some form of shared living at some point in our
lives.

Societal norms have led us to believe that the
optimal path is to rent your own apartment
or buy your own house. However, with rising
living costs in urban areas like Orange County
and an increasing sense of isolation among
the population, more and more people are rediscovering
the benefits of living in a community.
There is, without question, a financial upside
to living with others. Splitting time and cost for
things like utilities, internet, food, and cleaning,
co-living can reduce your living costs significantly
when compared to what you could spend living
alone. Co-living also provides more access to
larger living spaces and other amenities when
compared to renting a studio on your own.
Co-living is also about taking away the pain
points that make living with others difficult so
that residents can fully enjoy the opportunities
