District 4
Cary V. Mossaidis Chapter 515,
Broomall, Pa.
The brothers unanimously voted to rename the
chapter the Cary V. Mossaidis Chapter 515, in
honor of Life Member
Brother Mossaidis.
The brothers made
the decision on March
25, 2023, the day after
his passing. Brother
Cary joined AHEPA
on March 16, 1967, in
AHEPA Chapter 64, Harrisburg, Pa.
The chapter enjoyed a busy spring headlined by the presentation of a donation
to seminarians from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, and Dr.
Bruce Beck, assistant professor of New Testament, who visited Holy Trinity
Cathedral in Camp Hill, Pa. Also present for the donation's presentation was His
Eminence Metropolitan Savas of Pittsburgh. Among the chapter's programs for
its members included a presentation on Commercial Loans and Banking from
Members 1st Federal Credit Union by Brother Peter Magoulas and a family night
out at the Hershey Bears game. The brothers also enjoyed making Dolmathes
for the Greek festival.
District 6
Leonidas Chapter 77, Binghamton, N.Y.
The chapter hosted a Greek Night celebration that
brought the Riverdale Banquet Hall to life on April 22,
2023. The event brought all walks of life together to
enjoy traditional Greek food and live music thanks to
the Aegean Duo. The brothers are grateful to all who contributed
to the event's success, including the generous
support from the event's sponsors.

He transferred to Chapter 515 in May 1990 and
served as chapter president from 1990 to 2023.
During his tenure, Cary oversaw three District
Conventions,
the awarding of the chapter's
scholarships, and represented the chapter at
the district and national level as a delegate more
than 25 times. He also participated in eight
AHEPA Leadership Excursions since 2004. Cary
served the Order for 56 years.
