AHEPA Family Attends Epiphany Celebrations
Supreme President Carl R. Hollister and Supreme Lodge
officers attended events surrounding the 112th Epiphany
Celebration at Tarpon Springs, Fla., which included
the annual Epiphany dinner hosted by AHEPA George
Washington Chapter 16, Tarpon Springs, Jan. 5, 2018.
Daughters of Penelope Grand President Eva Jean Fomalont,
DOP Grand Lodge officers, His Eminence Metropolitan
Alexios of Atlanta and U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis, attended
the dinner. The Supreme Lodge and Daughters of Penelope AHEPA family leadership with Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta.
Grand Lodge also held meetings.
The Epiphany Celebration in Tarpon Springs is the largest Epiphany gathering in the Western Hemisphere.
AHEPA Spreads Christmas Cheer at Saint Basil Academy
The AHEPA family presented His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Geron of America; Father Costa Sitaras, executive director,
Saint Basil Academy; and Evellyn Tsiadis, president, Saint Basil Academy Board of Trustees, with the AHEPA's family's annual
gift contribution for the children enrolled at Saint Basil Academy,
Garrison, N.Y., December 16, 2017. Supreme President Carl
R. Hollister, DOP Grand President Eva Jean Fomalont, MOA
Grand President Sophia Shakolas, and Executive Director Basil
Mossaidis were among the AHEPA family members in attendance.
For more than 65 years the AHEPA family has been an active
supporter of Saint Basil Academy, donating more than $1.75 million to the institution, and will always remain a champion of the
academy to help it meet its worthy mission.

AHEPA Family Attends 36th Anniversary of St. Photios Shrine
Supreme President Carl R. Hollister and his wife, Cynthia, attended the 36th Anniversary of the Dedication of St. Photios Greek
Orthodox National Shrine, Feb. 3, 2018. The supreme president gave a moving talk regarding the importance of identity and commitment. He closed by inviting Shrine Director Polly Hillier to speak about the St. Photios National Shrine at the 2018 AHEPA Convention
in July. Daughters of Penelope Past Grand President Connie Pilallis also offered greetings. On behalf of the Daughters of Penelope and
DOP Cassandra Chapter 372, she presented a donation to join the Wall of Tribute. His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta,
Consul General of the Hellenic Republic in Tampa Dimitrios Sparos, and Chief Congressional Correspondent and Senior Political
Correspondent for FOX News Channel Mike Emanuel, also addressed the audience.
