ever: Rose Quartz, a dusty pink, and Serenity, a calming shade of blue.

are trying to balance their fast-paced, fractured and hurried lives with some
downtime, calm and the opportunity to just switch off," said Laurie Pressman, vice president of the Pantone Color Institute."The harmonious pairing
of these two inviting shades embodies the mindset of tranquility and inner
peace consumers seem to be looking for."
Still, many consumers will gravitate toward slightly more restrained (yet
nevertheless powerful) hues that complement the neutral backdrops predicted in the next year. Behr's 2016 color forecast, for instance, is rich in dusty yet
assertive shades of gold, gray, green, blue, coral and deep pink. Jacobs expects
homeowners to integrate celadon, a pale yellow-green with an earthy cast,
along with accents of rose, deep plum-gray and coral.

features a mix of yellows, greens and pinks reminiscent of intimate garden parties and outdoor weddings. Nouveau Narrative features denim, olive
and brass tones, while Trajectory integrates vibrant, saturated colors in gloss finishes.
Despite the variances in forecasted palettes,
it's clear that one thing won't change in 2016: the
search for happiness and personalization through
color in kitchens and baths.
