¿Ha desaparecido por completo el
fasor lineal? Quizás. En un libro de
1997, Electrical Engineering (Ingeniería eléctrica), Mishra describe la

Medición del fasor
Recientemente se ha introducido un
nuevo término: sincrofasor se añadió
al vocabulario por la estandarización
del método de medición de los ángulos
de los fasores en los sistemas de potencia. Con la invención del sincrofasor
(PMU, por sus siglas en inglés), se hizo
posible la medición rutinaria del ángulo de cualquier parte de un sistema (con
respecto a una referencia global).
El PMU funciona tomando muestras digitales de las señales analógicas
de tensión (o corriente) en su entrada y
examinándolas dentro de una ventana
de tiempo de medición. Para cada ven-
