editorial Bruno Andò D ear Readers, I am very glad to present this issue of the IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Magazine dealing with different topics of interest in the field of Instrumentation and Measurement. I am very grateful to all of the authors of articles contained in this issue. They highlight the multi-disciplinary nature of measurement science, with particular regards to measurement methodologies and sensing approaches focusing on tailored applications. And last, but not least, let me thank Prof. David Macii, who has contributed the paper " Basics of Industrial Metrology " under the Video Tutorial initiative. I would like to remind readers about the strategic role of the program through which the I&M Society offers a selection of Video Tutorials (VTs) that address relevant and important topics of interest to the I&M community. Please visit the Society webpage for the initiative to learn more: https://ieee-ims.org/vt-program. I am sure that such readings will offer, especially to the new generation of researchers, the opportunity to enlarge their view in the field of Instrumentation and Measurement, thus fostering new ideas and new developments. I wish all of you very pleasant reading, 2 IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Magazine September 2023https://ieee-ims.org/vt-program
