Composition of Test System
Aiming at the problem of on-site real-time imaging observation
of the internal structural morphological characteristics
of soil-rock mixture, an experimental system and device for
the ultrasonic transmission imaging of the internal structure
of soil-rock mixture are provided, as shown in Fig. 2. The system
is composed of inner and outer ring connecting rods, an
ultrasonic probe, an ultrasound imager and corresponding
data processing center. Connection method of ultrasonic imaging
test equipment: the ultrasonic probe is connected to the
ultrasound imager through the signal line, and the data is exchanged
and stored with the data processing center through
the signal line, as well as the data analysis and processing.
In this paper, the experimental device as shown in Fig. 2
is adopted, and the concrete steps and implementation principle
are explained in detail. The leakproof pool in Fig. 2a
contains observable objects: a soil-rock mixture, which includes
soil, permeable water, sand particles, rocks, and air
bubbles (pores). It should be noted that when using the device
indoors, a leakproof pool is required, otherwise the
leakproof pool is not required
when used in the
field or outdoors soil-rock
mixtures.
The purpose of the sliding
fixing device in Fig. 2a is
to fix the ultrasonic probe at
any position in the soil-rock
mixture. The connection design
method is as follows:

and fixed with each other through the screws and nuts
of the three connecting rods, and are divided into three
areas, in which the length of the connecting rod is determined
by the actual measurement range, which generally
requires greater than 25 cm;
◗ In the three areas divided into the inner and outer rings,
the pointed rods with circular buckles at the top are
mounted respectively. The pointed rods are inserted into
the soil-rock mixture and fixed, playing the role of fixing
the whole sliding fixing device. The pointed rod with the
top ring clasp can slide freely through the top ring in the
three areas where the inner and outer retractable ring rod
is divided by the connecting rod, so that the insertion
position can be freely changed according to the practical
situation.
The tip rod is pointed at the bottom and is easily inserted
into the soil-rock mixture for fixing devices. With the help of a
retractable inner and outer ring rod and a connecting rod that
can be long or short, the whole sliding fixing device can fix the
ultrasonic probe by sliding three pointed rods, to realize the
