Spend a day or weekend watching hot-air
balloons rise over The Villages Polo Club
Rising to the skies in a cavalcade of colors - hotair balloons are always a sight to see.
At The Villages Balloon Festival, you have the
chance to see several of those balloons as they take
flight here in Central Florida.
Hot-air balloon pilots from around the country
converge on the field at The Villages Polo Club for a
two-day festival filled with tethered balloon rides,
morning and afternoon ascensions, after-dark
balloon glows and more. The festival also hosts to
live music and entertainment, a kids' zone, the " Fly
Me To The Food Alley " and vendor booths spread
throughout the field, meaning there is something for
everyone to enjoy on both days.

Entertainment planned for the festival includes
Gilly and the Girl, Joe Hand, stilt walkers, jugglers,
magicians and acrobats spread throughout both days.
Weather-permitting, pilots take passengers on
tethered flights up to a height of about 40-50 feet,
and ascensions carry balloons to the skies in the
mornings and afternoons on both days. Stick around
after the sun goes down and watch as pilots ignite the
fires inside the balloons to make them glow - a great
photo opportunity!
With plenty of fun things to do each day and
free admission for kids ages 10 and under, you
won't want to miss The Villages Balloon Festival
this month.
