Before the regular technical sessions,
there were four tutorials on 7
November, offered by Youngcheol
Chae, Yonsei University; Hua Wang,
ETH Zürich; Massimo Alioto, National
University of Singapore; and Chi-Weon
Yoon, Samsung Electronics. A panel
discussion was held Monday afternoon:
" Processing in Memory Will Go
With Analog or Digital? " It included
five experts from Changxin Memory
Technology, Nanyang Technological
University, University of Tokyo,
Peking University, and Tsinghua University
to discuss issues related to
key technologies for processing in
memory. The industry session, also
held Monday, highlighted advances
in design, reliability, and integration.
Five industry papers were presented
by speakers from Renesas, Xi'an
UnilC Semiconductors, Samsung Electronics,
Hitachi, and TSMC.
The regular technical papers were
grouped in 20 sessions in four parallel
tracks: power conversion and wireless
power transfer, artificial intelligence
(AI) and vision processors, terahertz
and mm-wave circuits and systems,
circuits and systems for emerging
applications, temperature and voltage
management, FPGA design for AI/
machine learning applications, smart
memory, clock recovery and generation,
synthetic aperture radar-based
hybrid ADCs and TDCs, security
and signal processing SoCs, highperformance
VCOs and PLLs, imagers
and ToFs, performance enhancement
techniques for oversampled ADCs,
secure and resilient
circuits, highpower
and low-power RF techniques,
high-performance memory, clock
generation and envelope tracking,
FPGA design for emerging applications,
emerging circuits and systems
for biomedical applications, and wireline
trans ceiver techniques.
Since the conference schedule was
extended to four days, seven special
sessions were added to the program.
To expand IC designers' knowledge
beyond circuits, two special sessions,
" IT Vision in Asia: Beyond 5G, Paving
a Path Toward 6G " and " Convergence
Workshop, " were arranged. To offer
advanced technical topics, the special
sessions " Industry Forum " and " Latest
New and Hot Issue Forum " were prepared.
Besides technical talks, two
mentoring sessions, which were supported,
in part, by the SSCS Women
in Circuits and Young Professionals
programs,
" Learn to Establish and
Achieve Professionalism " and " Rising
Star Express Forum, " offered motivation
to young scholars and students.
The conference also introduced an

Seven special sessions round out the conference with diverse topics for the four-day
